Where we shelve this film
Japan: cult & supertrash
From Japanese monster classics to absurd genre experiments. A discovery shelf, not a quality verdict.
Psychedelic & surreal
Dream logic, wild colours and images that ignore reality.
Utterly bananas
Wrestling squid, killer furniture and ideas that would derail any serious pitch meeting.
Our genre tags are curated classifications. These descriptions explain the shelf, not the film’s plot.
